Summer is (almost) here. Who loves an art show?
Share
As the weather warms up and the flowers start to bloom, it's the perfect time to get out and explore all that our local arts community as to offer, and that means the weekend art shows featuring the art by Greg and Meredith will once again happening this summer.
While the studio, being in our home, is still a work in progress we still have plenty to see and some new artwork that will be available to visitors to the studio to see before they are premiered on our website.
So, what is new?
New Artwork
I know, I know. I'm repeating myself here but there will be new artwork to see that has not been shown on the site or in the store before. This includes both finished pieces that will be available for sale as well as seeing a few "in progress".
If you visit us more than once throughout the summer, you may even get to see some of these go from plain backgrounds to finished pieces... so check back often!
The bike is finished
Our project bike, an 2004 R6, is finally finished and ready for the summer. This is a bike my father and I customized and rebuilt. This, too, will be a prominent feature in our studio... which also shares space with our garage. I've nicknamed the bike "Gaius" as the colour scheme reminds me a bit of Gaius van Baelsar's armour from Final Fantasy XIV. Whether we further customize the bike to be reminiscent of the character... well... we haven't decided on that yet. What do you think? Tell us in the comments!
Coincidentally enough, we have another bike to rebuild and customize so be sure to check in on us as this second R6 takes form. I'm nicknamed it "Pearl" because it's a pearly white.
The addition of books
While we're not a fully fledged bookstore, we do have a few local authors to feature and welcome into our space, both online and in store.
Keep an eye on our events and calendar (or as you drive Elm Street in Sudbury!) for signs to be up for an active art show and be sure to drop in!
